Camp rules

  1. At the camp participants behave in a scout like manner and take others into account.
  2. A scoutscarf is held at the camp all the time.
  3. There is silence in the camp according to the program. During the silence, it is forbidden to make unnecessary noises.
  4. Cub Scouts, Adventurers and Trackers are allowed to use and carry a knife only when they are needed in the program.
  5. Children under the age of 18 require parental consent if leaving the camp site before the end of the camp period. Participants over 18 years old must inform the group director if leaving the campsite before the end of the camp period. This doesn’t apply when removed from the camp by the organization.

  6. The use of tobacco and nicotine products is permitted only in places assigned to them.
  7. It is strictly forbidden to possess, use, or to appear under the influence of alcohol, drugs or other intoxicants during the camp. The rule also applies to construction and deconstruction camps. In the case of persons under the age of 18, custodians are always notified of the offenses. In the event of a violation, the Espoon Partiotuki ry’s Substance Abuse Policy will be followed.
  8. Live twigs must not be taken from the trees. Modification of the terrain, such as excavation of large pits, is also prohibited without specific permission.
  9. It is prohibited to make a fire without permission of the camp security.
  10. Swimming outside the program is allowed at officially supervised swimming areas during specified swimming times. When leaving for a swim, you must always have the permission of the group director, your own swim pair, and an adult leader.

  11. Vehicles can move around the campsite only with the permission of the camp security. Parking in the campsite is only allowed in places designated.
  12. Pets are not allowed in the camp.
  13. In the event of a serious and / or repeated violation of the camp rules, the camp management may remove the participant from the camp site. In such a case, the costs of the return trip will not be covered by the camp organization or any other scout organization/fund in Finland. The cost will be paid by the participant or his / her guardian. Participants under the age of 18 will not be removed from the camp without contacting their guardian. The Väiski 2020 organization holds every right to change.
